What is Lip Blushing?
Lip blushing is a type of cosmetic tattooing procedure achieved by depositing pigment in your lips using small needles and can enhance the beauty of natural lip color, correct asymmetry, and add fullness and definition. With the help of this treatment, it is possible to correct the fading color of lips that is always associated with aging. Results are customize for every client, therefore, you can be sure to achieve the desired effect. Lip Blushing always heals much softer than your initial procedure. Lip blushing will not give you a bold dark lipstick look. A lipstick look can be achieved, but it is recommended to start with lip blushing, and to add more color with additional touch-ups to be sure that we head in the right direction. After your initial procedure, a 6-10 week touch up is recommended but not always necessary depending on your preference.
How long does Lip Blushing last?
Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should last 1-3 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and look desired.
Does Lip Blushing hurt?
Pain levels vary from person to person. Strong medical grade topical anesthetic cream is used before and during your procedure to keep you as pain free as possible. Most clients do not feel any discomfort at all.
How long does the appointment take?
The procedure takes about 3 hours. The consolation and prep work take a good portion of that time. We will discuss any concerns that you may have , including what you like/dislike about your lips; We will map your lips and show you a preview. Once the shape is approved by the both of us we will apply the numbing agents. This takes about 20 minutes then we will begin the procedure.
